Swoooooosh

I love this skirt. I love the colour, I love the shape, I love the embroidery, but I really love the way it moves when I twirl in it.

I do feel that I went a tad overboard with the patterns today between the tshirt and the tights. However, it was fine for a quick trip into town to tell the bank that I'm not graduating now.

Hot Pink

I don't wear bright pinks all that often, in part due to the clash with my hair. However, looking through my wardrobe for a jumper yesterday this particular top caught my eye and so was worn for the first time in months.

This was my outfit for a cinema trip (yay for cinema vouchers courtesy of my dad!), admittedly not very well thought through. The burgendy tights probably weren't the best idea, but I did at least manage to match the pink of the jumper and the skirt's flowers.

Underneath was my favourite new t-shirt

"Dr Hoo" from Threadless, with all 11 incarnations of the doctor portrayed as owls! I managed to get it for less than the advertised price as well which is always good since shipping from America is extortionate!

I also happen to be wearing an almost identical outfit today, but with black tights and a different t-short. I am nothing if not imaginative.

Summer Sun

Long time no post! I know I said I'd get some pony pictures while I was house sitting but the weather was pretty crap most of the time.

However, Friday was a glorious day! I needed to go to the uni Registry (my bank thinks I'm graduating this year rather than 2013), and we decided to go for some ice cream to take proper advantage of it.

In fact, it was so nice I even got a picture outside!

I don't usually wear a lot of yellow, although this outfit seems to have a lot of it. The t-shirt is from Threadless and one of my favourites. I adore giraffes and this one was just too cute to pass up.

The skirt is several years old from back when collections at Topshop were a new idea (this is a Laura Lees one). As much as I love it, and its ladybird print, it's just too thin to be wearable most of the time in Glasgow.

This weekend the weather has only improved, to the extent I've been wandering around without my usual cardigan layer! I've been practicing driving for my test and I might have tanned just doing that. Glasgow might spend most of the time being gloomy and grey but when it really wants to be nice, it goes all out!
